Jasmine (Jasminum officinale var. grandiflorum)

Jasmine (Jasminum officinale var. grandiflorum) absolute is obtained from the concrete by solvent extraction of its fresh flowers. It is a deeply relaxing oil. It helps to calm the body, mind, and spirit. It helps to diminish fear and enhance self-confidence. It is a superb hormone balancer and is effective in treating post-natal depression. It is noted to help regulate and deepen breathing by relieving spasms of the bronchi and having a calming effect on irritating coughs. In India, Jasmine is called “Queen of the Night” because its scent is more pungent after sunset. It supports and balances the Qi energy of the heart, calms the nerves, releases tension, and uplifts the mind. This essential oil is diluted in a in a vegetable-based oil of Safflower, creating an affordable 10% dilution of the essential oil.
