Sandalwood (Santalum album)

Sandalwood (Santalum album) essential oil results from the steam distillation of the roots and heartwood. Sandalwood has a calming, harmonizing effect, helping to reduce tension and confusion. It is ideal for nervous depression, fear, stress and a hectic lifestyle. I read this oil aids people who want to make human contact and overcome isolation, as it helps them to accept others with an open heart and diminish their egocentricity. This oil fosters openness, warmth and understanding. It is noted to help with diarrhea, nausea, dry and persistent coughs, bronchitis, and catarrh. Assists in bringing peace, comfort and acceptance to the dying. It aids people who overthink and calm their minds. When I smell this oil, it does bring me peace and calms my mind. (This essential oil is obtained from trees harvested from sustainable forests.) 

This essential oil is diluted in a vegetable-based oil of Safflower, creating an affordable 10% dilution of the essential oil.
